BR-FC23 Compact canister designed to fit any two 5.25 inch peripheral bays 1G bit fiber channel drive canister Supports three Fiber Channel 1 inch height HDDs with 40-pin SCA interface and is to daisy-chain to any number for expansion, as long as there is enough power supplied to the drives. SCA interface enables the hot-swap mechanism. Each ALPA Arbitration Loop Physical Address is configurable with three DIP-SW on the backplane. Delay-Spin-Up function on the backplane maintains for low power consumption when booting three HDDs simultaneously. When Delay-Spin-Up is enabled, delay time is set automatically on ALPA no) Cooling fan module is detachable for quick hot-swap replacement. Audible alarm on the backplane for high temperature warning and fan failure. Obtains the status of the fans and the temperature from the designated RAID controller by way of IIC.Onboard IIC interface enables communication with designated RAID controllers for temperature, fan, and drive status.
