The AMD Opteron 4100 Series processor, the world¿s lowest power per core processor, is designed from the ground up to meet the specific requirements of cloud, hyperscale data center, and SMB customers needing highly flexible, reliable, and power-efficient 1 and 2P systems, as well as for high-end embedded systems such as telecom servers, storage, and digital signage, through AMD Embedded Solutions. Based on the Direct Connect Architecture 2.0 and new C32 Socket infrastructure, the Opteron 4100 Series processor comes with four or six cores, 6M L3 Cache and two 16-bit HT3 links of up to 6.4GT/s per link, with support for AMD-P 2.0 power management technology and I/O Virtualization. Integrated DDR3 memory controller supports up to 1333MHz standard or low-voltage DDR3 memory.
